Cottage 2
Cottage 2 is on Ashby Hill, near Grimsby. It's part of a small group of cottages set within a 44-acre country park. The main thing is the view. You look out over a lake and fields.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You get a terrace with a bench at the front. It's a good spot to sit. You'll see plenty of wildlife around the lake, things like geese and herons. Sometimes deer in the fields.
The location is quiet. For a day out, Cleethorpes and its beach are about a 20-minute drive. Louth is a nice market town, roughly 25 minutes away if you want to look around the shops. Lincoln is further, maybe 50 minutes, but the cathedral is worth the trip if you've never been.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are right there for walking. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for a proper ramble.
Facilities are what you'd expect. WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's no charge for electric. Sorry, no pets allowed.
