Cottage 9 is in Ashby Hill, near Ashby cum Fenby. It's part of a small group of similar cottages on a 44 acre country park. The main thing is the view. You look out over a lake and the Lincolnshire fields beyond. There's a terrace with a bench to sit and watch it. You'll see a lot of birds. Kingfishers, geese, that sort of thing. Sometimes deer.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and open plan inside, done in a clean, contemporary style. Everything you need is there.
The location is quiet. You're here for the park and the walks. For a day at the coast, Cleethorpes is about a 20 minute drive. It's a classic seaside town with a beach, a pier, and fish and chips. Louth is a bit closer, maybe 15 minutes. It's a nice market town with a big church spire and some independent shops.
If you want to go further, Lincoln is under an hour's drive. The Cathedral and the Castle are up there, worth seeing if you haven't been. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is all around here for walking.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
