Cottage 9
Cottage 9 is on Ashby Hill. It's one of a few cottages here, next to a lake. The view from the front is good, just water and fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place feels quite new inside, everything works.
You're on a big country park. There are geese about, sometimes deer. You can fish in the lake if that's your thing.
The cottage has a terrace out front with a bench. Good for a morning coffee. Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are there.
Ashby cum Fenby village is close. It's small, just a church and a few houses really. For a proper walk, the Lincolnshire Wolds are on the doorstep. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Cleethorpes is about a 20 minute drive. That's your classic seaside, with a beach and a pier. Louth is a bit further, maybe 25 minutes. It's a nice market town with some decent shops.
If you want a big day out, Lincoln is under an hour away. The cathedral is worth seeing. The Lincoln Cathedral website has all the visitor information.
No pets, sorry. Parking is right outside.
