Cottage 6
Cottage 6 is on Ashby Hill in Lincolnshire. It's part of a small development of cottages on a 44-acre country park. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over a lake and fields. You get a terrace with a bench at the front so you can sit out there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well looked after. The layout is contemporary and open plan downstairs.
The country park land is where you can walk. You see a lot of wildlife. Kingfishers, geese, deer, that sort of thing. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right there for longer walks.
It's about a 20 minute drive to the coast at Cleethorpes. That's a traditional seaside town with a beach and a promenade. The market town of Louth is also about 20 minutes away. It's got nice streets for shopping and a big church. Lincoln is about 40 minutes by car if you want a proper day out. The cathedral is worth seeing, and the castle.
For facilities: WiFi, TV, parking are all here. Bedding and towels are included. There's fishing on the lake. No pets allowed.
