Cottage 6 Ashby Hill

Cottage 6 is one of a few places on Ashby Hill. It's on a country park, so the land is open. You look out over a lake and fields. The view is the main thing.

It's a two-floor cottage, modern inside. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean and comfortable.

Outside, there's a terrace with a bench facing the lake. You'll see birds all day. There are rabbits and sometimes deer around the edges of the park.

The site is 44 acres. You can walk around the lake. Fishing is allowed if you have a licence. Parking is right outside.

It's quiet here. The nearest village is Ashby cum Fenby. It's small, with a pub. For shops and more, you drive to Louth. It's a market town about 20 minutes away. Good for a wander and some shopping.

The coast is about half an hour's drive. Cleethorpes has a long beach and a promenade. It's a classic seaside day out.

Further afield, Lincoln is under an hour. The cathedral is worth the trip. The Lincolnshire Wolds are all around us for walking.

Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
