Cottage 5
Cottage 5 is one of a few places here at Ashby Hill. It's on a 44-acre country park with a lake. The main thing is the view from the front. You get a good look over the water and the fields. There's a bench on the terrace to sit out.
It's a two-storey cottage, sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The living space is open plan.
You'll see a lot of wildlife. Kingfishers on the lake, geese, sometimes deer in the fields.
It's quiet here. The nearest village is Ashby cum Fenby, which is very small. For shops and things, you'll need to drive. Louth is a proper market town about 15 minutes away. Good for independent shops and a wander.
The coast is about a 20 minute drive. Cleethorpes has the beach and a promenade. It's a classic seaside day out.
If you want to go further, Lincoln is under an hour. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's local fishing on the lake. No pets.
