Granary Cottage Whittingham Whittingham

Granary Cottage is a converted coach house on the Brampton Hall estate near Alnwick. It used to be part of a bigger Victorian house. You're in a private courtyard, looking out over farmland.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is on the ground floor, with a king-size bed and an en-suite. There's a twin room upstairs and another shower room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star Gold rating, so it's well equipped and kept to a high standard.

You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there.

You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It's quiet. For walks, you can just head straight out. The beach at Alnmouth is about a 15 minute drive. Alnwick has the castle and the treehouse. The Northumberland National Park site is good for route ideas.

The facilities are what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

It's about 25 minutes to Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle for coastal walks. Bamburgh Castle is maybe 40 minutes. Newcastle's under an hour if you need a city.
