The Coach House is in Whittingham, Northumberland. It's on the edge of the National Park, at the bottom of the Cheviot hills. It's detached, in a quiet courtyard. The view is over fields.
It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There are exposed beams and a wood burning stove. The place is warm and dry.
The village of Whittingham is a couple of miles away. It has a shop and a pub that does food. Rothbury is about ten miles west. It's a nice village with shops and cafes. Alnwick is eight miles east. The castle and the gardens are worth a visit.
You're well placed for walking straight from the door into the Cheviot Hills or the National Park. The coast, like Alnmouth or Craster, is about half an hour's drive east. Cragside in Rothbury is a good day out, and the Northumberland National Park site has walking routes.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
