Grooms Cottage Whittingham

Grooms Cottage is a one bed cottage in Whittingham. It's good for couples.

The room is well done, with a four poster bed. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and a separate shower. There's a wood burner in the living area. It's got a 4 Star Gold rating. That means it's finished to a good standard.

The cottage is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, with fields around it. It's quiet. It's part of a small private courtyard with a couple of other cottages. You can book them all together if you need space for more people.

Facilities wise: the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's parking right outside. You can have up to two dogs here. We include bedding and towels. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. There's an enclosed garden patio with a barbecue.

The area is good for walking straight from the door. For a day out, Cragside is about half an hour away, and Alnwick Castle and Garden is a similar drive. The Northumberland coast, like Alnmouth or Craster, is within half an hour too.
