Milton Cottage
Milton Cottage is in Rosehall, up near Lairg in the Highlands. It's a detached house with a big garden all the way round. The garden is enclosed, so it's good for dogs.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which we were pleased with. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor, which is handy, and two more upstairs. The stairs are normal. The side door goes into a utility and boot room, which is really useful for wet coats and boots after a day out.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has an open fire. We leave wood and coal for you. There's also a small study upstairs with a desk if you need to do any work.
It's a good spot for getting about. You can be in Dornoch in about half an hour. Ullapool is about forty-five minutes. Going north to Tongue or east to Helmsdale is easy from here.
There's a lot of fishing nearby on the Cassley and Oykel rivers. If you're interested in that, please ask us about permits and costs when you book.
The property is wheelchair accessible to the entrance and the ground floor bedroom and bathroom are on the same level.
