Birch Cottage is in Rosehall, up in the Scottish Highlands. It's one of two cottages converted from old farm buildings. You share the big lawned garden with the other cottage, but it's fully enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The main room downstairs is open plan, with a wood burner and a stone wall. The kitchen has what you need.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the River Cassley. It's a famous salmon river. The estate it's on has fishing rights. If you want to fish, you need to contact the estate directly to sort licences and rods. There's also a small loch behind the cottages for practicing casting.
There's a pub and restaurant about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest proper shop is in Lairg, 11 miles. You're out in the wilds a bit.
For getting out, Ullapool on the west coast is about 45 minutes drive through some great scenery. East to the coast, you've got places like Dornoch and Golspie with good beaches and golf. Inverness is just over an hour south.
Everything you'd expect is here: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
