Rowan Cottage is near Rosehall, up in the Highlands. It's one of two cottages made from old farm buildings. The main thing is the view. It looks right out over the River Cassley. It's a salmon river, quite famous for it.
It sleeps five. There's three bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom is downstairs, a single. The other two are upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan and there's an open fire. The kitchen has what you need.
The garden is a big lawned area. It's shared with the cottage next door, but it's fully enclosed so it's safe. There are picnic tables. The Glenrossal estate has fishing rights on the river, about two and a half miles of it. You need to sort licences with the estate direct if you want to do that. There's also a small loch behind the cottages for practice.
You're a bit out of the way. The nearest pub is about three-quarters of a mile walk. A proper shop is eleven miles off in Lairg.
For getting out, Ullapool on the west coast is about 45 minutes drive through some really good scenery. Going the other way, east to the coast, you've got places like Dornoch and Golspie. They have sandy beaches and golf courses.
What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to three dogs.
