The Wee Hoose Auchintoul

The Wee Hoose is in Auchintoul, which is a hamlet in the Highlands. It's detached, so there's no one attached to you. The garden is yours to use.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The stairs are a typical narrow cottage staircase.

The place has been in the family for a long time. We've done it up over the years. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dining table and a dishwasher. The windows are deep, which is just a feature of the old stone walls.

You get a view from the garden over the river and the hills. It's quiet. You'll see birds, maybe a deer.

It's a good spot for getting out. The Falls of Shin, where you can see the salmon leap, are about half an hour's drive. Dornoch is about 45 minutes north, good for the beach and the cathedral if that's your thing. The mountain biking trails around here are very good if you're into that.

For a shop or a restaurant, you're looking at about nine miles. The nearest pub is six.

What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right there.
