Inch Alla is a cottage in Auchintoul, up in the Scottish Highlands. It's an old, detached croft house from the 1800s. It sits on a hillside and the view from there looks right down the Kyle of Sutherland. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are typical for an old cottage, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner.
There's a living room, a separate dining room, and a kitchen. The kitchen has a door that leads into a big utility room. That's a useful space for putting muddy boots or storing bikes. There's also a garage you can use for kayaks or other kit. Upstairs, both bedrooms have the same great view. There's a sun room on the ground floor, which is a good spot to sit and watch for wildlife. We see deer, red squirrels, and lots of birds around.
It's in a small hamlet called Linside. The nearest shop is about seven miles away. The closest pub and restaurant is five and a half miles.
You're well placed for getting out. It's near the North Coast 500 route. The Falls of Shin are nearby to see the salmon leaping. Dornoch is about a twenty minute drive. It has a famous golf course, a good beach, and a cathedral. If you head west from here, you can get to the Atlantic coast in under half an hour. The landscape north towards Caithness is very wild and open.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking here. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. No pets, sorry.
