Primrose Villa

Primrose Villa is in Rosedale Abbey. It's a semi-detached house, so you might hear a bit of the neighbours sometimes. The big thing is the view. The front looks straight down the valley. You don't get many houses with a view that clear.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The house is on three floors. The main living area and kitchen are on the ground floor. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. Then there's a second living room up on the top floor. It's a good spot to sit if people want some quiet.

The stairs are a bit steep. There's a wood burner in the main room. It gets the place warm. You can store bikes in the garage if you bring them.

The village is quiet now, but it was a mining area years ago. There's a pub about 600 yards away that does food. The local shop is about three quarters of a mile.

If you like walking, you can just step out the door. The footpaths start right there. It's the same for cycling. The Tour de Yorkshire came through here. Dalby Forest is about a twenty minute drive. They've got all sorts of mountain bike trails there.

For a day out, Whitby and Scarborough are about 40 minutes by car. York is roughly an hour's drive. It's a good base if you want to explore the North York Moors.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
