Crown Gardens is our place in Rosedale Abbey. It's a detached house right in the middle of the village. You get a pub and a restaurant within a few minutes' walk.
It sleeps seven. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It has a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The garden at the back gets the sun and you can see the moors from it. The living room has a wood burning stove. It's decorated for Christmas if you book over that period, with a tree and some other bits.
For facilities, you've got the things you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site.
You're in the North York Moors National Park, so walking is right on the doorstep. The village is good for that. For a day at the coast, Whitby is about half an hour's drive. York is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.
