Crown Gardens
Crown Gardens is in Rosedale Abbey, right in the middle of the village. It's a detached house. The back garden is private, faces south, and has good views over the moors.
It sleeps seven people. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, so that's handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. It's decorated for Christmas if you're booking over that period.
You're a short walk from the village shop. There's a pub and a restaurant nearby too. The house is in the North York Moors National Park, so walking is right on the doorstep. You can hire bikes or go horse riding locally if you want.
For a drive out, Whitby is about thirteen miles away. That's got the beach and the harbour. York is further, about thirty five miles. The coast and the moors are the main thing here really.
In terms of what's there: it has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site.
