Westfield Farm Cottage
Westfield Farm Cottage is a detached bungalow on our farm just outside Seaton Delaval. It's all on one level, so good for less mobile people, but the doorways are standard width so check if you use a very large wheelchair.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's a working farm, so we've got chickens, horses, and a few pet sheep. You're welcome to come and see the animals once we've shown you how to be safe around them.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden. There's also a shepherd's hut to the side. It's a nice spot to sit with a book, especially in the evening.
You're about four miles from the coast at Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. They've got good beaches and promenades. The Metro station is a short drive away, which is the easiest way to get into Newcastle.
Alnwick Castle and gardens are about a thirty minute drive north. The Northumberland coast with all its castles, like Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh, is within an hour. For walking, you can get onto the coast path or head inland to the Northumberland National Park.
In terms of what's here: there's a wood burner, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to three dogs.
