Whitley Bay Hideaway is in the middle of the town, about a three minute walk from the seafront. It's a terraced house, so you've got neighbours each side. The back yard is enclosed, just a flagged space with a table and a sauna hut.
The house sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating which means it's well-equipped. The wifi works fine. There's one parking space on the drive.
The big living room has a proper dining table and a small desk if you need to work. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are plug sockets with USB ports in every room.
The Spanish City Dome is a five minute walk away. It's been done up and has restaurants and bars inside. The seafront promenade is flat and good for a walk, either north towards St Mary's Lighthouse or south through Cullercoats to Tynemouth.
Tynemouth is about two miles south. It's got good surfing beaches, a lot of nice places to eat, and a weekend market in the metro station. You can get the metro from Whitley Bay station into Newcastle city centre in about half an hour.
For a day out, you can drive north to Alnwick Garden or the Northumberland coast. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour's drive west.
Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. The entrance is step-free. No pets.
