Percy Park Apartment
Percy Park Apartment is on the first floor of a Victorian building in Tynemouth. It's about three minutes' walk from Longsands beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard. The ceilings are high, so it feels quite spacious. The kitchen was fitted in 2021 and has everything you'd expect.
The living room has large windows that look out over the green towards the sea. You can see the water from there.
You're right in the middle of everything. The beach is two hundred yards away. The high street, with all the restaurants and cafes, is a three minute walk. There's a weekend market in the metro station.
For a longer walk, you can follow the flat promenade all the way to Whitley Bay. The Spanish City building is there, and there's a swimming pool and a sea life centre.
The metro station is nearby. It's about twenty five minutes into Newcastle city centre if you want to see the Quayside, the Baltic, or the Sage. North Shields Fish Quay is one stop the other way.
If you drive, you can be at the Angel of the North in under half an hour. The Northumberland coast, with its castles, is about an hour away. English Heritage has a guide to the Northumberland coast.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs.
