Brierdene End Cottage is on a working arable farm near Whitley Bay. It's semi-detached. You get distant views of St Mary's Lighthouse and the sea from here, but you're still in the countryside. The farm has a herd of Welsh mountain ponies.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a multi-fuel burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. We allow one pet.

There's a dog-friendly pub about half a mile away. A shop is two miles. The coast is close. Seaton Sluice beach is two miles away, with a long sandy beach. St Mary's Lighthouse is a nice walk from the door. Tynemouth and Cullercoats are a short drive. Tynemouth has an award-winning beach and a good Sunday market.
