Marshfield Annex Hoopers Pool

Marshfield Annex is in Hoopers Pool, Wiltshire. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps two, built over our garage.

It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not high-end. The main thing to know is you get to it by going up 13 steps from the driveway. So it's not suitable if you have trouble with stairs.

Inside, it's all one open plan room for the kitchen, dining and sitting area. Then a door goes through to the bedroom and the shower room. There's a small balcony off the living space. You get a good view over the fields from there. It's quiet.

The lane outside is good for walks straight from the door. We allow up to two dogs.

You're quite rural here. The nearest proper shop, pub or restaurant is about two miles away in the village. The historic village of Frome is close, they have a good market on Fridays.

For a day out, Longleat House and Safari Park is a short drive. Bath is about 40 minutes away if you want the city and the Roman Baths. There are a few National Trust properties within half an hour's drive.

In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, a washing machine. There's parking right by the steps. We have space to store bicycles.
