The Oak is in Wingfield, Wiltshire. It's a converted farm building, so it's quite spacious inside. There are two cottages together, this one and The Ash. You get your own bit of garden and there's parking right there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which is accurate. It's nicer than average. Everything's clean and it feels new, but they've kept the old beams.
The main room is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining table and sofas. It's got a Smart TV. There's a sky light in there so it's bright, even on a grey day.
Outside is a courtyard seating area with a barbecue. The view is over fields. It's very quiet.
The stairs are fine. Everything's on one level anyway, except the bedrooms are up a flight.
Wingfield itself is a small village. There's a local pub within walking distance. For shops, you'd drive to Bradford-on-Avon or Trowbridge.
You're well placed for getting out. It's about twenty minutes to Bath. Good for the Roman Baths and general wandering. National Trust Wiltshire has details for places like Lacock Abbey and Stourhead, which are both a short drive.
Longleat is about a twenty-five minute drive. Stonehenge is maybe half an hour. Salisbury Cathedral is under forty minutes.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Pets are allowed, up to two. The garden is enclosed.
