Tiptoe
Tiptoe is in Steeple Ashton. It's a one bedroom lodge that sleeps two. We renovated it recently, so everything's new and clean. It's detached, but next to our house. You've got the garden to yourself, it's enclosed so it's fine for dogs. We allow up to three.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom is en suite to the bedroom. There's a shower, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Parking is right next to the lodge.
The village has a shop about 100 yards away. The pub is about 200 yards. They do food. It's a proper village pub.
For walking, you can start from the door. There are good paths across the fields. Longleat is within half an hour's drive. Trowbridge is five miles away for supermarkets and a cinema.
You can get to quite a few places in under an hour. Bath is about 45 minutes. Stonehenge and Avebury are close. There are several National Trust properties nearby, like Lacock Abbey or Stourhead. The railway stations at Trowbridge and Westbury have direct trains to London if you need them.
