The Ash - Arnolds Hill

The Ash is one of a pair of cottages on Arnolds Hill, just outside Wingfield. It used to be a farm building. It's been done up to a good standard. It's got exposed oak beams and an open plan living area downstairs. There's a sky light, so it's quite bright.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are doubles with their own bathrooms, which is handy. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. The other is upstairs. The stairs are wooden and a bit open, so maybe watch small children on them.

There's a courtyard at the front with outdoor seating. You can park right there. The view from the front is over fields. It's quiet.

Inside, there's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a Smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.

Wingfield village has a local pub. For shops, you'll need to drive. Bradford upon Avon is the closest proper town, about a ten minute drive. It's nice for a wander. Bath is about half an hour away. You've got all the Roman Baths and Georgian architecture there.

If you want to get out walking, the countryside around here is good for it. There are lots of National Trust places within a half hour drive. Lacock Abbey is one, and Stourhead is another. Longleat Safari Park is about twenty minutes away. Stonehenge is about half an hour's drive.
