Stable Cottage is in Inveralligin, on the Torridon Estate. It's a stone cottage about two miles from the village.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main room downstairs is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living area together. There's an open fire. We leave some wood for you to start with. There's a double bedroom and that bathroom on the ground floor too.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with its own shower room, and a twin room. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
Outside, there's a seating area at the front. You're free to walk around the estate grounds, which is about 125 acres by the loch. You'll see deer. The waterfalls are a few minutes' walk from the cottage. The water in the pools is very cold.
Torridon village is two miles away. It has a small shop and a pub that does food.
If you've brought a boat or kayaks, you can use them on the loch. The estate owners live on site and can answer questions if you see them.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. You can bring up to four dogs.
