Gardeners Cottage

Gardeners Cottage is in Inveralligin. It's a detached cottage on the Torridon Estate, right by Loch Torridon. The view from the front over the loch is great.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not small, but it's a cottage, so the rooms are a sensible size. The living room has an open fire.

Outside, there's a lawned garden for you. There's a hot tub. You can park right there.

The cottage is part of the Torridon Estate. You have about 125 acres of grounds to walk in. There's a waterfall and some pools on the estate. Deer are around, often. The owners live on the estate if you need anything. You can bring your own boat or kayak.

Torridon village is two miles away. It has a shop and a pub that does food.

For wider trips, the Torridon hills are right there for serious walking. Shieldaig is about a 15-minute drive. Applecross, over the pass, is roughly half an hour and the drive is part of the experience. Gairloch and its beaches are about a 30-minute drive.

Facilities: It has a washing machine. WiFi. TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking on site. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Pets are allowed, up to four.
