West Home
West Home is our bungalow in Torridon. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden.
It sleeps four. Two large bedrooms, both with double beds. One bedroom has its ensuite shower room, the other uses the family bathroom down the hall. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clear rather than stylish.
The main thing is the view. The living room has these big windows looking straight out over Loch Torridon and towards Liathach mountain. You can just sit there. There's an open fire, and we leave you a decent pile of logs.
The kitchen is a farmhouse style. It's fine. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a big table for meals.
You're right on the edge of the village. It's a couple of minutes' walk down to the little shop and a cafe. The pub is a mile away in the other direction.
If you're here for the walking, you can start from the door. Cycling and fishing are right here too. For a bigger day out, the Beinn Eighe nature reserve is about a 15 minute drive. The garden is enclosed. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There is parking right outside.
