Serene Sands is in Felixstowe. It's a modern house, not an old cottage. You're a short walk from the seafront.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is right at the top, in the eaves. It's got an en-suite and a good view of the sea. The other two are twins on the first floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The back garden is decked and enclosed, so it's safe for kids. It gets the sun in the evening. You can step straight out from the kitchen.
You're close to the promenade for walks or cycling. The beach is sandy and slopes gently. The town has the usual shops and restaurants, and there's the Spa Pavilion for shows.
If you're driving, you can get to Sutton Hoo in about half an hour. It's a significant historical site run by the National Trust. Orford Ness, another National Trust spot, is a similar drive. It's a strange, interesting shingle spit. Southwold and its pier are about 40 minutes north.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're looking into the area, Suffolk Coast & Heaths has information on the landscape and walks.
