Mariners Lodge is a detached house in Felixstowe Ferry. It's not in the town, it's in the little fishing hamlet by the golf course. It's quiet there.
The house sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's nicely done, comfortable. It's not huge, but it's a good size. The main thing is the living room is upstairs to get the view. You can see the sea from there, and you look right out over the golf links.
You're about 50 yards from the shingle beach. It's not sandy, it's pebbles. The Ferry Boat Inn pub is a few minutes walk away, maybe 400 yards. They do food. There's a little art gallery and a cafe in the hamlet too.
Felixstowe town is two miles along the coast if you need supermarkets or shops. The beach there is sandy and has a Blue Flag.
For things to do, you're well placed. Aldeburgh and Southwold are up the coast, about half an hour's drive. Orford and Woodbridge are nice for a wander. Snape Maltings is about 30 minutes away for concerts. If you've got children, Easton Farm Park is a good day out.
The house has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's an enclosed garden and parking on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
