Mariners Lodge
Mariners Lodge is in Felixstowe Ferry. It’s a detached house, so no one is attached to you. It looks out over the golf course. From the upstairs living room you can see the sea.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’re bringing dogs. You can bring two.
The beach is about 50 yards away. It’s shingle, not sand. The Ferry Boat Inn pub is a few minutes’ walk. They do food. There’s also a cafe and an art gallery in the hamlet.
Felixstowe town is two miles away for proper shops. For a day out, Aldeburgh and Southwold are along the coast, about half an hour’s drive. Woodbridge is nice too. National Trust Suffolk Coast and Heaths has good walking information.
If you like concerts, Snape Maltings is about 30 minutes away. Framlingham Castle is inland, also within half an hour. For kids, Easton Farm Park is a straightforward day out with animals and a play area.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
