Fronks House

Fronks House is in Harwich, right on the coast. It's a terrace house, sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Has a 5 Star rating. It's a genuinely nice place, comfortable and well kept.

The décor is unique. A lot of the furniture and things in there are handmade or one-offs. It's not like a show home. It's got character.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area. There's a wood burner. The garden at the back is enclosed. You can have a BBQ there, and you look out over the sea.

There's a basement with a games room in it. Table football, that sort of thing. Good for kids if the weather turns.

Harwich is a historic port. You can walk along the front. There are old forts to look at, like the Harwich Redoubt. The town itself has a lot of old buildings.

Colchester is about half an hour away by car. It's the oldest recorded town in Britain, they've got a castle and a good museum. For a different day out, you can drive into Suffolk to see Constable Country, around Dedham Vale. That's also within half an hour.

If you want to go to London, you get the train from Harwich Town station. It takes about an hour and twenty minutes.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking for two cars on the driveway.
