Fronks House

Fronks House is in Harwich. It's on a main road, so there's traffic noise sometimes, but you're looking right out over the estuary. It's a proper view.

It sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a separate toilet and a utility room with a washing machine. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.

The decor is unusual. Lots of bright colours and handmade things. It's not like other places. Some people love it, some find it a bit much. The living area and kitchen are all open plan, so it's good for a group. There's a wood burning stove.

Downstairs in the basement there's a games room with a pool table. The back garden is enclosed. You can have a barbecue out there.

Harwich itself is an old port town. You can walk along the front. The historic parts are interesting. There are two old forts you can visit, just a short walk away. One is the Harwich Redoubt.

Manningtree and the Stour Valley are about twenty minutes drive. That's Constable Country. Flatford Mill is there. Colchester is half an hour away. It's got the Roman stuff, like the castle.

If you want to go to London, you can get the train from Manningtree. It takes about an hour and twenty minutes.

It's a seaside house. You can bring one dog. All bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking for two cars on the drive.
