This is Quayside Apartment in Harwich. It's in a big, old building right near the water. The location is the main thing. You're a minute's walk from the quay, and about five minutes from the town centre and the beach.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and works fine, but it's not luxury. It feels quite modern inside.
The living room and kitchen are all one space. There's a sofa, a TV, and the kitchen has what you need, including a washing machine. You can use a shared courtyard and balcony out the back, which have some plants.
There's on-site parking, which is helpful because the streets around here are narrow. No pets allowed, sorry. Bedding and towels are provided.
For a pint or a meal, there's a local pub a short walk away. The beach is shingle, so it's good for a walk or a paddle. You can get the foot ferry over to Felixstowe from the harbour, which is a nice thing to do.
If you're driving, Frinton-on-Sea is about twenty minutes south along the coast. Dedham Vale, which is Constable Country, is about forty minutes inland. Manningtree Station is a fifteen-minute drive if you want to get a train into London.
