Swift Johnson Harwich

Swift Johnson is a caravan on Dovercourt Holiday Park in Harwich. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get your own bit of grass outside.

It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and the sofa in the living room pulls out into a double bed if you need it. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious.

The site has things like an indoor pool, a climbing wall, a shop, and a bar and restaurant. The beach is about a mile away. It's a Blue Flag beach, so it's clean.

Harwich itself is a proper old port town. You can walk around the historic bit where the Mayflower set off from. There's a foot ferry you can get over to Felixstowe or Shotley if you fancy it.

If you want to go further, you're not far from Constable Country around Dedham Vale. The National Trust has a few places like Beth Chatto's Gardens near Colchester. Colchester Zoo is about 40 minutes by car.

What's here: There's a TV, WiFi, parking right by the caravan, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The pool and play area are on the park for everyone to use.
