Kings Cottage South
Kings Cottage South is in Broad Chalke. It's a semi-detached cottage and sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating and we accept up to two dogs.
The main thing about it is the garden room. It's an extension with full-length glass windows looking over the garden. It's a nice spot to sit. There are oak beams inside, and a wood burner in the living room.
The village itself is quiet. There's a pub a few minutes walk away. The church is 14th century if you're interested in that sort of thing. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the walks are good right from the door. National Trust Wessex and Cranborne Chase National Landscape have details on local walks and places to visit.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Salisbury, or Shaftesbury. Stonehenge is about 25 minutes away. For motorsport, Gurston Down hill climb is nearby.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden has a patio and a BBQ.
