Saddle Room
The Saddle Room is at Higher Farm in Martin. It's a single-storey barn conversion. It was the old saddle room for the farm. It's light and comfortable, with everything on one level.
It sleeps two in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean.
You have your own sitting area at the front, and there's tables and chairs in the orchard to use. There's a barbecue and a bike store. Croquet set's available too.
You're welcome to walk around the farm to see the animals. There's chickens, horses, ponies, and sheep in the fields.
The village has a small community shop that opens most days. The nearest pub is about three miles away.
You're right on the edge of the Martin Down National Nature Reserve. It's good for walks and cycling straight from the door. The whole area is part of the Cranborne Chase AONB.
Salisbury is about eight miles. The cathedral is worth seeing. The New Forest National Park boundary is about six miles away. Godshill, in the Forest, usually has the ponies about.
Further afield, within a 30-45 minute drive, you've got Stonehenge, Fordingbridge on the river, and the coast at Bournemouth.
