Whitey Top Country Lodge
Whitey Top Country Lodge is one of three on a farm in Pentridge. It's detached and fairly new. The owners run a dairy farm here, so you'll see the cows. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's modern inside, open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a private patio with a hot tub. The lodges are spaced out so you're not on top of each other. You can park right by it.
The location is very dark at night. It's in a Dark Sky Reserve. On a clear night, you can see a lot of stars. Sometimes you can see the Milky Way.
For walking, you're right next to Martin Down. There are footpaths and trails straight from the door. The Cranborne Chase National Landscape is all around. The Jubilee Trail runs through here.
You're about 20 minutes from the edge of the New Forest. About 40 minutes in the car gets you to the south coast beaches or the Jurassic Coast. For a day out, places like Longleat, Monkey World or the Tank Museum are all within half an hour’s drive.
There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
