Whitey Top Country Lodge is on our farm. It's a modern lodge, one of two on the site, with good space between them so it's private. It's detached and you're looking out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well kitted out and comfortable. Everything is on one level.
You've got your own patio area with a hot tub. The garden is fenced but it's not fully enclosed. It's a working dairy farm, so you'll see cows.
It's really dark here at night. The area is a Dark Sky Reserve. On a clear night you can see a lot of stars.
For walking, you've got footpaths right from the lodge. Martin Down National Nature Reserve is on the doorstep. The wider area is the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. You can drive to the New Forest in about twenty minutes.
The south coast and the Jurassic Coast are about forty minutes by car. The tank museum at Bovington is a half hour drive. Longleat is about the same.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right next to the lodge. No pets, I'm afraid.
