Knighton Mill Dairy is in Broad Chalke. It's a detached, single-storey barn conversion. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The place used to be a dairy, which means the ceilings are high and the room feels big. It's open plan, with a wood burner. There's a patio area outside with a table and chairs.
It's quiet here. You're down a farm track. The village has a shop and a pub, both about a five minute walk away. The pub does food.
For getting further out, Salisbury is about a 25 minute drive. The cathedral is the main thing to see. Stonehenge is a similar distance. You can book tours from Salisbury if you'd prefer not to drive there yourself.
The Dorset coast, like Swanage, is about 45 minutes away if you fancy the sea. Shaftesbury is roughly half an hour. Gold Hill is the steep, cobbled street you might recognise.
For walks directly from the cottage, you can follow the footpaths along the River Ebble. The Cranborne Chase National Landscape is right here too.
Facilities: It's all on one level. There's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome. It has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. The wood burner has a starter supply of logs.
