This is the Piggery, in Cadnam. It's a converted single-storey building that used to house pigs, hence the name. It's on the edge of the New Forest.
It's been done up to a good standard. Solid oak floors, big windows, and the original oak beams are still there. It's open plan inside, so the kitchen, living and dining areas are all one space. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own shower room. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a private patio garden. Parking is on site.
You get ponies and pigs wandering past the fence. They're New Forest animals, so you don't feed or pet them, but it's nice to watch. Cadnam Common is right there for walks.
The local pub, The Sir Walter Tyrrell, is a ten minute walk. It does food. The White Hart is a bit further. Both are proper pub pubs.
Paultons Park, with Peppa Pig World, is a ten minute drive. The New Forest Water Park is about fifteen minutes away if you want to kayak. For a day out, Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum are twenty minutes down the road. The coast at Lepe is about half an hour.
If you're planning walks or visits, the New Forest National Park Authority site has good maps. The National Trust New Forest page is useful too.
No pets, I'm afraid.
