This is Lavender Lea. It's a detached, single-storey lodge in Plaitford, Wiltshire. That means no stairs at all, which some people find useful.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite shower rooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and well looked after.
The lodge sits in its own private garden. That garden looks out over a much bigger, three-acre cottage garden which you're welcome to use. It's open to guests from 10 until half four, Wednesday to Saturday. It's very quiet. You'll see buzzards and red kites about. There are pheasants too, and lots of small birds.
There's a family-run tearoom on the same site. They do homemade cakes, cream teas, and light lunches. You don't have to drive for a decent cuppa.
The New Forest boundary is about a mile away. So you can walk there easily and see the ponies. Good for cycling too.
Salisbury is about twelve miles. The cathedral is worth a visit. Southampton is a similar distance the other way, if you need a big shopping centre or want to get a ferry to the Isle of Wight.
There's a local shop and a pub serving food, both a mile away.
What's here: your own garden with a patio, parking right outside, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are provided. The layout is open plan.
