Deer Glade Lodge is in Plaitford, just outside the New Forest. It's a detached lodge on a holiday park. It feels private though, with its own garden and terrace.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is good if you're two couples. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and modern. Everything works.
The living area is open plan. The kitchen looks out over the terrace, so you can keep an eye on things if anyone's outside. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You're right on the edge of the New Forest. You'll see the ponies and cattle wandering around. It's good for walks straight from the door, or you can hire bikes on site.
The site itself has a shop, a bar and a restaurant. There's a fishing lake and mini golf on the park too. You can book other activities like segway sessions if you want.
If you head out, there's a local pub nearby. The Dorset coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got places like Lymington and the Beaulieu River closer for sailing. The New Forest National Park website is good for planning walks and cycle routes.
There is parking right by the lodge. Sorry, no pets.
