Deer Glade Lodge
Deer Glade Lodge is in Plaitford, on the edge of the New Forest. It's detached. You get two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It sleeps four.
It's a 5 Star lodge, which means it's well finished and everything works. The main room is open plan. The kitchen looks out over a terrace. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
The site has a few things: a small shop, a bar and restaurant, a fishing lake, and you can hire bikes. There's mini golf and table tennis too. They sometimes run activity sessions.
Outside the lodge, you're right by the New Forest. The ponies and cattle roam free, so you'll see them out the window or when you're walking. It's good for cycling. There's a local pub a short drive away.
If you want the coast, the Dorset beaches are about half an hour's drive. The New Forest villages are nice to potter around. For a longer day out, Salisbury is within 30 minutes, and the Southampton coast is about the same.
