Jasmine Cottage is a two bedroom house just outside Lyndhurst village. It's a brick and tile place, not that old. The garden is enclosed so it's fine for a dog. You can see the edge of the forest from the back.
It sleeps four, two proper bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need. The living room has a wood burner. You get logs for it. The kitchen has a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included.
Lyndhurst is a five minute walk. There's a Co-op for shopping, cafes, and a couple of pubs. The New Forest Centre is there if you want to know about the area. You see ponies everywhere, obviously.
You can walk straight from the cottage onto the forest. The tracks are good for cycling too if you bring bikes. Brockenhurst is about ten minutes in the car. They have a mainline train station there.
If you want to drive out, the coast at Lymington is twenty minutes. You can get the ferry to the Isle of Wight from there. Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum is about fifteen minutes away. Salisbury and Winchester are both within half an hour if you fancy a cathedral or a proper look around a city.
