Grantham House is a big detached house on the edge of Grantham. It's not a cottage, it's a proper large family house. It sleeps fifteen across five bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's spacious and clean, not boutique.

The main thing is the space. The living and dining rooms are large. You won't feel on top of each other. There's a separate games room with a pool table and some other things, which is handy if you've got kids with you.

It's got a decent enclosed garden at the back. Parking for several cars on the drive.

Facilities wise: everything you'd expect is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. You can bring up to four pets.

Location is straightforward. You're a few minutes' drive from the A1, so it's easy to get to. The town centre is about a ten minute drive. Grantham has the usual supermarkets and shops.

For days out, Belton House is very close. It's a National Trust property with a big park. Belton House. Burghley House, which is that massive stately home near Stamford, is about half an hour's drive. Burghley House. If you like walking, the Lincolnshire Wolds are within half an hour. That's about it. It's a practical house for a big group.
