Kingfisher
Kingfisher is one of the lodges at Lakeside Retreats out at Gonerby Moor. It's detached and sits right by the fishing lakes. You look out over water. It's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star lodge, so it's well kitted out and comfortable. Everything is on one level.
You get a patio with furniture. There's parking right there. It's got a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We don't allow pets, sorry.
The main thing here is the fishing. You have access to three lakes as a guest. They're well stocked, there are some very big catfish in there.
There's a shop and a pub about two and a half miles away. The pub does food. Grantham is about seven miles. It's a proper town with shops, restaurants, and a train station. You can get a direct train to London from there.
For walks, you can stroll around the park here or head out into the lanes. It's flat, so good for cycling if you bring bikes.
