Kingfisher is in Gonerby Moor, out in the Lincolnshire countryside. It's a detached lodge overlooking the fishing lakes. It's peaceful here, you just get the water and the fields.
The lodge sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's a high standard, comfortable and modern. Everything is on one level, which is useful.
The main space is open plan. You've got the living area, kitchen and dining all in one room, with big windows looking out at the lake. There's a washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. No pets though.
You get access to fishing on the three lakes while you're staying here. They're well stocked, there are some big catfish in there.
There's a shop, a pub and a restaurant about two and a half miles away. For a bigger town, Grantham is seven miles. It has all the shops and restaurants you'd need, and a mainline railway station if you wanted a day trip to London.
You can walk straight out from the lodge around the park and the local lanes. For a proper day out, Belton House is close by. The National Trust run it and it's got lovely gardens. Lincoln is about half an hour's drive, the cathedral is worth seeing. The coast at Skegness is also within about 30 minutes if you fancy the seaside.
