This is Buttercup Lodge, out at Boothby Pagnell. It's one of two lodges on the same site, but it's detached and your garden is your own. The whole place is on the ground floor. No stairs.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both rooms have super king beds you can split into twins if you ask beforehand. Both have an en-suite wet room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well put together.
The lodge is new build eco-friendly. Underfloor heating from an air source heat pump. Wide doorways, level access, designed with accessibility in mind.
You get a welcome pack with some local Lincolnshire bits. There's a vending machine in the village for fresh milk, eggs, cheese and yoghurt. The farm shop at Burton Coggles is good for meat and veg. A few decent pubs are within a ten minute drive.
You're about seven miles from Grantham station if you're coming by train. The A1 is four miles away for driving.
For things to do, you can just walk out from the lodge. Easton Walled Gardens are five minutes by car. Woolsthorpe Manor and Belton House are about fifteen. Within half an hour you can get to Stamford, Rutland Water, Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle, or the outdoor theatre at Tolethorpe Hall.
Facilities: there's parking right there, an electric vehicle charger, bike storage, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburner. Bedding and towels are included. They provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
