Henry’s Retreat
Henry's Retreat is a bungalow near Lenton, out in the country. It's detached, so you're on your own. Open fields at the front and back. The garden is big.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is down to it being well kitted out.
You're a fair way from things. The nearest shop and pub is about three miles, so you'll need a car. It's quiet.
The garden is a proper feature. If you like sitting outside or gardening, you'll like it. There's a sun room to look out from if the weather's not great. There's a wood burner and a BBQ.
For a local day out, Belton House is good. It's National Trust. Good for walking and they've got deer. Lincoln Cathedral is about a 40 minute drive. Stamford and its Burghley House are about half an hour away. Belvoir Castle is in that direction too.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door on quiet lanes. The local roads are flat.
