The Loans Inn Cottage is in Loans village, near Troon. It's attached to the pub, The Loans Inn. You can use the garden. It's quiet here, you get fields at the back.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms: two are double beds, two are singles. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's open plan downstairs, so the kitchen and living area are all one space.
Because it's attached to the pub, you can pop next door for a meal or a drink. They do breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also get a spa pass for The Gailes Hotel, which is five minutes away by car. That costs twenty pounds per person and gets you into the thermal suite. You book treatments separately at the hotel.
Troon is about five minutes by car. The beach is good there, and the promenade is nice for a walk. Royal Troon Golf Club is there. Ayr is about ten minutes away in the car. It's a busier town with shops and a racecourse. The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is in Alloway, just outside Ayr.
For a day out, Culzean Castle is about twenty minutes' drive. The grounds and the views are the main thing. Dumfries House is about half an hour away. You can get the train to Glasgow from Troon or Prestwick, it takes about 45 minutes.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
