Tigh Beag Troon

Tigh Beag is a one-bedroom flat in Troon. It's a ground floor apartment, so no stairs to worry about. You can park right outside.

It's small, just for two people. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is accurate. It's clean, comfortable, and everything works, but it's not a luxury place. You've got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. The bedding and towels are included. There's also an electric vehicle charger if you need it.

The flat has its own enclosed patio area out the back. It's a quiet spot.

You're about a ten minute walk from the seafront and the sandy beach. The town centre, with shops and restaurants, is a fifteen minute walk. There's a pub about half a mile away.

Troon is on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, so you can walk straight out onto that. And yes, the Royal Troon golf course is here.

You can get a ferry from Troon harbour over to the Isle of Arran for a day trip. It's a good run out. CalMac Ferries handles those sailings. You're also well placed for getting down to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

Glasgow is about 40 minutes away by car or train if you fancy a city day. The train station is in the town.
