Langside Balgowan

It's called Langside. It's in Balgowan, Perthshire. That's central Scotland. For you, it's one actual bedroom with a king sized bed and then a double sofa bed in the living room, so it sleeps four.

It's detached. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. You've got a kitchen with a washing machine and a dishwasher. The living area and kitchen are open plan. Bedding and towels come with it.

There's a garden and it's enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We accept two. Parking is right there.

This bit might be important: there's a hot tub.

The place has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. It's a rural property, so you're looking out at fields and hills. It's quiet.

Balgowan is near Methven. There's a golf course there. Perth is about a 20 minute drive. That's where you'll find supermarkets, shops, and places to eat.

Scone Palace is about half an hour away. It's where the kings were crowned. Scone Palace. Elcho Castle by the river is closer, maybe 15 minutes. It's ruins but interesting. Elcho Castle.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the hills. Dunkeld and Birnam are maybe 25 minutes north. Good for a wander by the river or into the woods. The National Trust for Scotland has properties all over if you want to plan a day out.

That's about it. It's a solid base for getting out into Perthshire.
