Ninetrees is a detached cottage in Balgowan, a village in Perthshire. The name is from the nine big trees around the garden. It's a quiet spot.
It sleeps eight but I should be clear, it's two bedrooms and one bathroom. One room has twin beds, the other has two sets of bunks. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. There's also a double sofa bed in the living area. So it works for a big family or a group of friends, but just know the layout.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. Kitchen, dining, living room all in one space. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and works. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and the WiFi is fine.
The big thing is the garden. It's fully enclosed and private. There's a patio and a hot tub. The garden gets sun in the afternoon.
You can have two dogs. The garden is enclosed but I'd still keep an eye on a real escape artist.
Balgowan is rural but not remote. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs in Methven, about a mile away. You're about a 15-minute drive from Perth itself for bigger shops and restaurants.
If you like golf, there's a course in Methven. For walking, you're right on the edge of the Highlands. You can drive into Glen Almond or up to Loch Tay easily. Scone Palace is nearby, and Huntingtower Castle is worth a look.
