The Stable is in Welland village. It's a detached stone building, so it's quiet. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept.
It's for two people. One double bedroom upstairs, one shower room. The stairs to the bedroom are a spiral staircase made of cast iron. They're open and steep. You'll want to watch your step.
There's a small kitchen with a dishwasher. The sofa is a two-seater. Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs and a barbecue. It's a good sun trap.
You can bring one dog. The garden is secure. There's bicycle storage if you need it. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside.
The village shop is about five minutes' walk. The nearest pub is about a mile away, past the church.
You can walk onto Castlemorton Common from here. The Malvern Hills are about a twenty minute walk. Good for a proper hike. The Malvern Hills Trust website has maps.
The Three Counties Showground is two miles away for events. Upton-upon-Severn is about four miles, Malvern is about five. There's fishing on local stretches of the River Severn if you have a licence. Golf and horse riding are available nearby.
