Meifod Coach House

Meifod Coach House is in Denbigh, in North Wales. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two people.

It was the old coach house for the main building. So it's a converted stone outbuilding. Nice and private. You get your own small patio area out the back.

The inside is clean and tidy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is small but has a dishwasher and washing machine. The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep, but there’s a handrail. It's a standard double bed.

Denbigh Castle is just up the hill. It's a ruin, but a big one. You can walk around it. It's run by Cadw. The leisure centre is just across the road, literally a minute's walk, if you fancy a swim.

You can walk into the town centre from here in about ten minutes. There's a Co-op, a few pubs that do food, and the usual local shops. The main supermarkets are a couple of miles out, on the bypass.

The Clwydian Range is on your doorstep for walks. Offa's Dyke Path runs along the top. If you drive for about twenty minutes, you're into Clwydian Range and Dee Valley country properly. Loggerheads Country Park is about a fifteen minute drive, good for a gentle walk.

The beach at Rhyl is about twelve miles away. It's a typical North Wales resort beach. Prestatyn is a bit closer and quieter.

Included facilities: wifi, TV, bedding and towels, parking right outside. There's a Christmas tree and some decorations if you're staying over that period.
