Beech Cottage
Beech Cottage is a detached house in Rhewl, Denbighshire. It's in a rural spot, about a mile off the main road.
It's for two adults and two children, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's well-finished, with a lot of the woodwork done in beech.
The stairs are narrow and wind a bit. The ceilings upstairs slope. That's just how it is.
There's a patio garden that gets the sun and has a good view west over the fields to Moel Famau and the Clwydian Hills.
The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in the village.
Ruthin is very close. It's a nice town with independent shops and a good market square. The Ruthin Craft Centre is worth a look. If you drive over the Horseshoe Pass, you get to Llangollen. You can walk along the canal there, or get the steam train.
The North Wales coast, like Llandudno, is about a 30 minute drive. Bodnant Garden is in that direction too.
Betws-y-Coed is the gateway to Snowdonia and is also within half an hour. For something different, Zip World Fforest is there.
It has parking, wifi, TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. You can store bicycles. No pets.
You can book it with Oak House next door if you need more space for a larger group.
