Brandy Cottage is just outside Clova village. The house is detached. You'd be staying at the end of a little track, so it's quiet. The front faces the road but the back garden, which is yours, looks out over fields towards the hills.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's very comfortable and well-equipped.
The facilities are all here. There's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a TV. WiFi is included. Towels and bedding are provided. There's a hot tub in the back garden, and parking for two cars on the gravel drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
In terms of the area, you're right in the middle of the Angus Glens. Glen Doll and Glen Clova are on your doorstep for walks. The local hotel, The Clova Hotel, is about half a mile up the road for a meal or a drink. They're used to walkers.
Kirriemuir, which is J.M. Barrie's birthplace, is about a 25-minute drive. Further afield, Glamis Castle is about 40 minutes by car. For a day at the coast, Arbroath or Montrose are both within a 30-minute drive.
